  • When Do I Need to Install a New Air Conditioner?

On average, an air conditioner in Texas lasts a maximum of 15 years. If the air conditioner in your home is more than 15 years old, you should consider replacing it with a new one.

A good rule of thumb is that if getting your HVAC system repaired is 40 to 50% or more of the cost of installing a new air conditioning system, you should obviously go for a replacement.

Also, if your current system is running R-22 Freon, you may want to consider replacing it sooner than later as R-22 was phased out by the EPA on 1/1/20 and is becoming very expensive to buy any remaining supply of it.   All new air conditioner installations use R-410A as the refrigerant which is better for the environment and can increase the energy efficiency of your air conditioner.

You should plan ahead when it comes to air conditioner installation. This allows you to look into all the professional air conditioning services and choose one that is right for you.

  • Why should I install Bryant?

If you are looking for an HVAC brand that features better-than-average efficiency and ozone-safe refrigerant, then Bryant central AC units are a great option. The majority of Bryant's air conditioner models have met the guidelines for the Energy Star certification.

You should install Bryant products because our AC installation has proven to be high-quality and reliable.

  • Why are variable and two-stage systems better than single-stage systems?

Variable and two-stage systems provide more comfort by lowering humidity and they help save on electricity usage. They are also a lot quieter than single-staged units and run longer at slower speeds. If you're in need of an AC installation for either system, be sure to call us!

  • Do you offer any warranties for your work?

We offer a 10-year manufacturer's warranty and a 1-year labor warranty for AC installation. We offer 1-year parts and a 1-year labor warranty on repairs.

  • How often should I service my HVAC system?

You should service your HVAC system twice a year. We recommend a cooling check-up in the spring and a heating check-up in the fall. If you go too long without servicing your system, you may find yourself needing an AC replacement.
